Our Story. Our Faith. Our Family.
Miracle House Church began with a simple, powerful vision: to create a place where real people could encounter a real God. Today, that vision continues to shape everything we do — from our Sunday morning worship to our community outreach efforts.

More Than a Church —
A Safe Place to Seek God
We are a Spirit-filled, Holy Spirit-led body of Christian believers located in Athens, Georgia. Our doors are open to God seekers at every stage of life — from those just beginning to ask questions about faith to those who have walked with the Lord for decades.
We believe that God is the only solution that will truly satisfy every elusive search for contentment, purpose, and peace. At Miracle House Church, you will find a community that takes the Bible seriously, worships with authenticity, and walks together through the full range of life's experiences.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to assemble ourselves together as one Christian body for the purpose of evangelizing the lost, edifying and equipping the saved, and exalting the Lord. In every service, every study, and every act of service, we are working toward that one shared purpose.
OUR VISION
We are committed to becoming a church that is biblically informed and biblically prepared — a congregation equipped to meet the spiritual needs of our families, our community, as well as the world beyond.
OUR BELIEFS
Our faith is rooted in the timeless truth of Scripture. Here is a summary of the core beliefs that guide everything we do:
-
God, the Creator of all things, is all-powerful and all-knowing. His ways are perfect, and He despises sin.
-
Humanity is separated from God by sin. Without redemption, the consequence is eternal death.
-
People matter deeply to God. His love is so great that He made a way — through Jesus Christ — for us to be reconciled to Him.
-
Jesus Christ, the Son of God and Head of the Church, is the only path to God and eternal life. He died for our sins and rose again so that we could be restored to a right relationship with our Creator.
-
Forgiveness and eternal life are freely available to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior — through repentance, confession of faith, and baptism.
-
The Holy Spirit lives within and empowers every believer.
-
The Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God.
-
The Church is the Body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit to reach the lost and strengthen believers.
-
God still performs miracles through His Spirit and His chosen vessels today.
-
We believe in divine healing for the body. (Acts 3:2-12; Acts 5:15-16; James 5:14-15)
